Abandoned Quran Series Part( 2 ) 1434/2013 - 01 Lec B The Decisive And Ambiguous Verses - Masjid-E-Ali, Newjersey, Usa.
Stages of discussion:
What is the origin of the meaning Muhkam (????)? And what is the origin of the meaning Mutashabeh (??????)? And were there groups who questioned ambiguity in the holy Quran?
How theologically did a group of Caliphs seek to use certain verses to push their agenda, or indeed to push their school of thought
How important are the Rasekhoon-fel-elm (???????? ?? ?????) in our understanding of which verses are ambiguous and indeed which verses are to be seen as decisive?
Are the words ambiguous and decisive limited only the Quran? Or can we look into certain traditions and even find that maybe there is decisiveness vs. ambiguity within the traditions?
When we look into the traditions like: “Whoever wears black clothing has dressed himself up like the people of Fer'oun," is this a decisive tradition or indeed is it left with a bit of ambiguity and different interpretation
